In the fall, students in the Hadley-Luzerne Junior/Senior High School Writer's Club participated in the Young Writers' Stranger Sagas 100 word mini saga writing contest.  

We are excited to announce that Juniors Haley, Payton, and Grayson and Sophomore Cody all had their mini sagas chosen for publication in the collection titled, Stranger Sagas - Echoes After Midnight. This was a challenging writing task because it not only required imagination and creativity, but the students had to focus on word choice to captivate their audience and create a plot in only 100 words.

The Writer's Club is open to all students in grades 7-12. The club meets the last Monday of each month in Mrs. Sheerer's room. They are always welcoming new members who enjoy writing all genres for fun.
